We’ve been shooting a lot of elopements recently. While big weddings filled with friends and family are extraordinary, there is also a special, undistracted intimacy of a couple traveling to a destination by themselves. In the case of Karen & Chris, their wedding was a blending of their two families, and a private getaway where they could focus on their love and their children was exactly what they wanted. There ceremony was pure and emotional and when the kids started loosing so did I. It was also the coldest day of the day year in Scottsdale, it rained the whole time, but being from Chicago Karen stuck it out and had a beautiful ceremony at the newly renovated Orchid lawn.
