Being a wedding photographer is the greatest job in the world. I know I comment about that in a lot of our posts, but we truly feel honored to be a part of all of our couples days. Each wedding has a moment where you know you’re a part of something beautiful and special. It’s when that moment arrives that is my favorite part of a wedding. Kristin and her bridesmaids were so cheery and calm when we arrived. Everyone was smiles and laughing and the day was off to a great start. When I went to Oscar to get him ready for the first look, he was very anxious. He was quiet, almost robotic in doing what needed to get done. We walked across property to a secret little indoor hideout and I could just sense how much he needed Kristin. As soon as the two of them turned around and saw each other I could just watch all the anxiety vanish and Oscar could not stop smiling the rest of the day. Physically watching how much Oscar loved Kristin was the moment we knew we were in for something special. The Arizona Biltmore is such a gorgeous Frank Lloyd Wright property with tons of little nooks and crannies, and we took advantage to avoid the 110 degree heat as much as we could. We had a blast walking through the halls, watched Kristin crack her head open jumping up to wave at family, had a lot of laughs and then sat back and watched their family and friends love all over them. Their wedding planner Regina made the ceremony and reception space come alive, and Oscar gave a beautiful toast to Kristin thanking her for loving him, they danced, the toasted, they ate some cake, and we hugged goodbye. It was a beautiful day with a beautiful couple. Kristin & Oscar – congratulations, and thank you for sharing your beautiful wedding with us.
