The first time we met Jocelyn and Sean was over Skype with thousands of miles in-between us. The two were living in London and had both just decided to make some big life changes; new adventures, new jobs, and finish it off with some new nuptials. They decided to celebrate their new life with a wedding at the Sedona Golf Resort in Sedona, Arizona. The weather was absolutely PERFECT, as were the gorgeous red rocks and that bright blue sky. Keeping things fun and untraditional, the two got ready together in the same apartment with some of the bridal party and family as well. It was so much fun and relaxed! We then took them to the red rocks for some amazing portraits where I found out just how much fun the two of them are. Silly and romantic, the winning combination for a lasting relationship if you ask me! The best part about the portraits was it was truly just them, the red rocks, a bobcat, and a few hikers. And yes, I said bobcat! Unfortunately, she didn’t stick around long enough to let us photograph her. 😉 Then we moved to the Golf Resort for a gorgeous ceremony where they were surrounded by the people they loved in one of the most stunning locations on this planet. It was so moving and very emotional. I truly don’t think there was a dry eye in the house. I think one of my favorite moments from the ceremony was when Jocelyn wiped her tears away and handed Sean the kleenex. It was so cute and funny! The party then kicked in with some of the most beautiful toasts I’ve ever heard, including one from Sean’s brother in which he explained the significance of their heritage and how much his brother meant to him. He had even taken the time to record a video with some of friends from overseas who couldn’t be there that day. It was such a touching sentiment. The whole day couldn’t have been written better in a novel. Congratulations to Jocelyne and Sean and we can’t wait to see where your adventures take you next in life!!!
Also, a very special thanks to Patricia Pentecost of Plum Tree Studios for assisting us that day!
