We walked into the room and were met with hugs and huge smiles and the coolest cat I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Ben and I knew that at that moment this was going to be a wonderful day! Amanda and Bryan are super cool. The kind of cool that makes you feel like you are hanging out with good friends at a laid back cafe in Europe, not photographing a wedding. After one of the best first looks to date we had a blast photographing them around the lush property at the Hyatt at Gainey Ranch. We even convinced them to climb up onto the roof for some gorgeous portraits. The flowers were amazing, the bride and groom looked spectacular, and the details were to die for thanks to their planner Celebrations by Amy Bacon . But I think what Ben and I loved the most about this entire day was watching the love that Amanda and Bryan share for each other through their subtle touches, amazing smiles, and constant laughs. Those laughs and smiles were very contagious. We also admired the fact that they made this day truly about them, so when Amanda had had enough of her dress she traded it in for an outfit that made her feel comfortable enough to finally let loose on the dance floor. I know for a fact that a lot of brides would love to ditch that dress at the end of the night! So here’s to Amanda and Bryan, congratulations!!!
