When Ryan approached us to hide in the bushes and lie to his soon to be fiance, we jumped at the opportunity 🙂 Kelly and I were so excited to be a part of an elaborate plan put together by Ryan and The Phoenician to surprise the hell out of Shylah with an amazing proposal. Ryan got down on a knee and Shylah about fainted, and we were hiding in the shrubbery to capture it all. After the “YES!”, we introduced ourselves to Shylah, shared a few laughs, and took the newly engaged couple around the resort grounds for an engagement shoot. Then I lied to and told Shylah I had to go, but really I just ran up to the J&G at the top of The Phoenician to meet all their family members that Ryan had flown in to share in the day. Shylah about fainted again when she walked out on the patio and saw both sets of their parents and siblings there to congratulate them and celebrate them. This was an amazing day that we got to share with an amazing family, and really reminds us of how awesome our job is! Ryan & Shylah – congratulations!!!
